Jazz Funk

Courtney is a passionate performer and loves to entertain a crowd. Courtney has her Associates in Fine and Applied Arts with an emphasis in Dance and is working on her Bachelor’s in Health Sciences. She fell in love with dance through Starlight Productions, a youth theatre production company that Jazz It Up Studios has been born out of! She has studied under Tiffany Maisonet and Kim Bogaro in Jazz Dance, as well as local choreographer Joel Sluyter in Hip Hop and was assistant choreographer to him in Camp Rock at Torrance High School. Courtney loves to be involved in the community and choreographs for Torrance High School Theatre whenever needed and has performed in Torrance Theatre Company’s summer musicals. Courtney is so very proud to be a part of Jazz It Up Studios, supporting the arts and sharing her passion. She hopes to see you in her Hip Hop Class, where we pop and jaaaaaaaaaam and BREAK!
